Cressi Matrix 2-Lens Diving Mask and Gamma Snorkel Combo Overview

The Cressi® Matrix/Gamma snorkeling combo combines the popular Matrix dive mask and Gamma snorkel. The Matrix features a 100% silicone skirt for superior comfort and fit, and down-angled tempered glass lenses offer outstanding visibility. The Gamma snorkel features a splash-guard top to prevent water entry and a purge valve for easy cleaning. Store and dry both in the convenient included net bag.

Cressi Matrix 2-Lens Diving Mask and Gamma Snorkel Combo Specifications

You'll see clearly underwater wearing the Matrix Mask, thanks to an exceptionally wide field of view, raked dual-tempered lenses, and a patented inverted tear-drop shape that rests close to the eyes. The Matrix Mask also has a double-feathered skirt made from hypoallergenic soft liquid silicone and a wide-split silicone strap for comfort and fit. Adjusting the tightness of the mask is made easy with pressure buckles that click into place when you pull on the strap. It's just as easy to get the mask off--simply press your thumbs behind the buckle and pull. To protect your mask when not in use, the Matrix comes with a hard plastic protective box.

The Gamma Snorkel has a semi-dry profiled guard that helps prevent splashed water from entering the tube. If water does enter the tube, there's a drainage well that draws residual water to the bottom end of the tube so you can still breathe. And an internal elliptical one-way valve optimizes water drainage, making it quick and easy to purge the snorkel clear. The snorkel attaches to the mask by an easily--and quickly--adjustable attachment system that runs along the snorkel tube.

Mask Features:

  • 100 percent hypoallergenic double-feathered liquid silicone skirt
  • Wide-split silicone mask strap
  • Wide area of visibility
  • Internal volume is minimal
  • Unique pressure buckle design for easy adjusting
  • Dual-tempered inverted tear drop lens mask fits close to face

This is by far the best snorkeling fin I have ever used. Most fins cramp your feet within 10 min. but you can snorkel all day in these and they have a lot of snap. A++

By Kaveman
When I first got these I tried them on and was surprised at how
comfortable they were. I didn't have any of that 'rubber biting at
the back of my heel' feel. They fit really well. I'm a size 12, so
I got the 11.5 to 13 size.
As to performance; for the short time I wore them thay seemed more than
adequate. But, not having worn fins for a long time, my calves were
straining with each kick, so I opted to swim without them more than with
them.
I would be perfectly willing to recommend these to anyone considering
them. For the money I thought they were excellent.

If you have ever taken a sea cruise to say the caribbean or west coast colse to Catalina, you'll recall how blue and clear the water was. The perfect location for underwater enjoyment.
I think that (If) you were into scuba diving, or maybe not, and the cruise offered an underwater expedition you would want to sign-up. A big (If). If you sign-up, you would want to be in good corporeal health and be an experienced swimmer, and most of all be Certified. Certification assures the cruise dive team you are a remarkable Scuba Diver, the Grim Reaper also lurks underwater.

Scuba diving is one of the most sports activities in the world, but there are sure knowledge complicated before entering into your entertaining journey.

Diving & Snorkeling

Here are some Do's and Don'ts related with Scuba Diving.
(Do's): (1) Be in good corporeal health and be Certified. corporeal Fitness and Certification are the two most leading aspects of diving, make your journey enjoyable and safe.

(2) Have a check list. There are many items to consider, but these are the most leading items to be sure you have before leaving home.

Mask, Diving Fins, Weight belt, Regulator and Octopus, Compass, Dive Light with backup, Dive knife, Dive watch, Air Tank and backup, Dive flag, Spare mouthpiece, First Aid kit, Flare gun-don't forget the flares.

(3) Have a diving partner. This will make your diving more pleasant and safe, especially if you get into trouble. Keep optical taste at all times, and try not to kick out you're partners mouthpiece.

(4) Have a third person. It's very leading to have a third someone along top side. They should have a cell phone handy in case of trouble, they can also sustain you when getting out of the water.

(5) Take along an underwater camera and underwater light and backup. You'll want to show your friends and house pictures of your beautiful underwater adventure.

(Don'ts): (1) Please Don't Drink and Dive. Intoxication can put a diver in a compromised position. One being, the inability to use tasteless sense, and make rational judgments, especially when it involves safety entertaining yourself and your partner. Leave the booze at home to enjoy while your viewing your pictures.

(2) Forget to let someone know where you are going and approx. When you'll return.

(3) Eat a big meal before production your dive. You should wait at least two (2) hours after eating before you make your dive. Diving on a full belly can put you in a dangerous situation. Not only creates the possibility of acquiring cramps, but also inherent upchucking in your mouthpiece production it difficult to breath.

These are just a few of the Do's and Don'ts related with the sport of Scuba diving.

Here are a few topics in my Tid-Bit section you might be concerned in.

Tid-Bits: several centuries B.C. Antique carvings revealed Assyrian soldiers crossing rivers using inflated goatskins. This the only documentation that inflated goatskins might have been used as breathing devices. I'll leave this to the readers imagination.

Leonardo de Vinci made the first known mention of an underwater breathing device. (Ubd) colse to the 15th century. He described it as Bad Human Nature, and gave no details as to how it worked. Mainly because using the (Ubd) could maybe be used to sink ships and even used to commit murder.

Waterproof goggles were first introduced in France in the 1930's. They were indubitably invented by Guy Gilpatrick to keep the salt water out of your eyes at the surface. Thanks Gil.

The first Scuba Certification procedure in the Usa was offered by the L.A. Co. Dept. Of Parks and Recreation. The schedule was introduced by Albert Tillman and Bev Morgan.

It was 1956 before wetsuits became available to the public.

I will be adding Tid-Bits to upcomming articles. The main topic of this report is to caution you as a diver to use sound judgement in safety and take benefit of the great rewards you'll receive from your Scuba Diving Experience

2 Things That You Must secure Before You Go Scuba Diving

Perhaps one of the most thrilling adventures that you could indulge in is to go scuba diving in one of the myriads of paramount and exotic diving spots around the world. When you go on a recreational diving exploration, you will have the occasion to watch the beauty that is incommunicable beneath that emerald green coast. It will also give you the occasion to have close encounters with the hordes of fishes and other sea creatures, with their dazzling colors made more gorgeous by their tranquil surroundings.

It is honestly an exhilarating feel that you might want to try. Before you do, however, there are just four things that you must be aware of before you settle to try that recreational scuba diving.

Diving & Snorkeling

Get Yourself Certified

Because of some accidents that have happened in the past, you are now required to get a scuba diving certification before you could ever share in a real diving adventure. In order for you to get this scuba diving certification, you must enroll in a diving course where you will be taught of the basics of scuba diving, the gears needed and how to use them, descent and ascent procedures, what to do when underwater, and how to avoid things which may cause you injuries while a dive. There are a lot of diving certification centers, particularly in paramount resorts and beaches. You could also get some information about these scuba diving certification centers from dive shops found within the vicinity of beaches.

Get the allowable Gear

It is also leading to equip yourself with a gear that is most accepted for your bodily body structure. The most basic of scuba diving gear consist of alternate air source or your backup second stage regulator, the buoyancy operate gismo or buoyancy compensator which is a jacket that most scuba divers wear, rubber or plastic fins that allows you to swim at greater speed and with ease, an underwater compass to act as your navigation tool, the dive cylinder which contains compressed breathing gas and regulators attached to it for the divers to properly breathe the air from the cylinder, a depth gauge to tip off you how deep you have gone, the submersible pressure gauge which tells you the amount of breathing air left in your dive cylinder, and a dive knife which may come in handy in case you come to be entangled with a fishing line or some other material.

Once you are properly adequate with a scuba diving certification along with the right training and diving gear, you can now take that plunge to leisurely contemplate the magnificence that lies underneath the sea. Be sure to take that airtight video canister, with a water-proofed video camera safely nestled inside it, with you so that you will be able to document all things you see.

2 Things That You Must secure Before You Go Scuba Diving
